July 21 is the deadline for registrations for the exciting Quilt Weekend sponsored by Packwood House Museum. Click here for a link to the Museum and more information about the exhibit and weekend, including registration information. There is still space available in all of the classes.
The great news is that the Board of Directors has given us permission to open our two dinner/lecture programs to the public, without payment of the weekend registration fee. So interested folks can hear Donna Ruppert on "Progressions in 19th-Century Pennsylvania Quiltmaking" on Friday, August 21, and Jeannette Lasansky, author of In the Heart of Pennsylvania and Pieced by Mother, on "Seeking One's Quilting Roots: How It Began, Where It's Going" on August 22.
The price of each dinner and lecture together is $35. Dinner includes choice of entrée plus various sides and dessert.
Contact Packwood House Museum (570) 524-0323 or visit www.packwoodhousemuseum.com for more information and to register for the dinners.
We are showcasing the best of the best antique and vintage quilts here, many that are extremely rare. We will have delicate french laces including Normandy and Point de Gaze, fine Italian and French linens, whimsical feedsack pieces from the depression era and so many things that will make your house a home.
